Franz Kline, "Meryon." I saw some Kline in Seattle a few weeks ago and it is way more impressive in person. The piece I saw totally knocked me out - there's a remarkable combination of rough and fragile in this work, and a feeling came over me...[I sound like a hippy...I'll stop...]
