Somebody I believe told me that the weird stuff below is for hacking DVD encryption. I don't believe that nonsense - I mean, I'm no PERL expert, but what kind of fool would believe that the DVD industry wrote protection that could be cracked with such a short, elegant bit of code? I'm not going to try it, either, having no DVD player. If you want to see what it does, feel free to let me know, but don't say I'm endorsing any kind of tom-foolery...
