I'm reading Beneath the Underdog, by Charles Mingus. I just read Whatever, by Michel Houellebecq. The Mingus is so far terrific (a bit racy, and clearly fictionalized). The Houellebecq is brilliantly written, but is a pretty silly project. I mean, it says on the cover: "L'Etranger for the digital generation" and that's about what it is. Really. I should read Elementary Particles to see if Houellebecq is up to anything more serious...fadsl;i[0 [opkj3 l;kjc0 yes, and? o3w98=.c
