Peevish has played some shows without Ezra or Taylor Aglipay but with Jean-Paul Jenkins and Joseph Bradshaw. We're taking the show on the road, playing a gallery in Astoria, Oregon on Aug 17. There will be behavior of many varieties. This much is certain.
I went on the Liz Wilde Show on the radio with Fighting and Breeding (Bryan Eubanks & Joseph Bradshaw).
Weekly ad hoc freakout at a roundabout (39th & Glisan street traffic circle) during rush hour has been a tremendous success, including brief TV coverage (which was, apparently, viewed by my aunt & uncle who deemed it "not music")
Foster Jenkins Eubanks Trio had a great show opening for The Degenerate Art Ensemble at the Medicine Hat Gallery in Portland. Big crowd, good response. The Degenerates' second set featured a Butoh-inspired singer named (?)Harako who was completely awe-inspiring. She screamed like a maniac and laughed like a little girl, and made very unusual faces. A band called Waterskiing in Canada opened up & they sound rather Thrill Jockey-ish. We played an inspired little set, probably the best performance I've ever been a part of. I pulled out a bowling ball case in the middle of a piece & it was full of paper airplanes & I threw them all over. They had slogans on the wings, all different, including such chestnuts as: "Empty space, no god" and "Yes, and?"
