Reading the stories of Lu Hsun (or Xun) [above left] as I scored an interesting Chinese printing translated to English(from the early 70's). His stories are incredible - Ah Q [above right], in particular, as well as the one about the Opera.
Also recently read in bursts: 3 Lives by Gertrude Stein, and Herzog by Saul Bellow, about which I've little to say but which were both fine.
I have been remiss in posting. I've been busy with good things in meatspace, you'll be glad to know! Recordings with Super Unity, the Hundred Flowers Ensemble, and of course, the Don Brown and Dan Reynolds project...
not to mention the trio, and Peevish...
Another thing forgoto menchin: I danced at the Cabaret Boris and Natasha with JenkinsEubanksand Toto as the "Boris and Natasha Dancers." The piece was choreographed by Linda Austin who is very inspiring indeed (and, clearly, has a sense of humor...)
