Reading A Voyage to Arcturus which so poorly written it's difficult to read, but seems to rub up against some of my intuitions in a strange way - in the midst of wading through pages of boring crap I keep stumbling upon things like this:

okay, no quote. I don't have the book anymore. Which reminds me: it's annoying updating this blog at the public library (they only give me 1/2 hr at a time) so feel free to send me a computer.
