Super Duper Unity aka Super Dupity played last night on KBOO last night as a 10 piece band (2drum,2altosax,bassclarinet,altoclarinet,2brass,tenorsax,flute). Super Unity plays 2 downtown Portland gigs this weekend: at Jasmine Tree tonight for $4 quintet-style, tomorrow night at the Tug Boat brewery for free. Tonight we share the bill with Almost Transparent Blue.
There is a pretty funny picture of us in the Oregonian A&E section this morning. We are not very good at being media-whores. Probably for the best, though.
